PÁLDEÁK KATINKA - singer

I was born on 17 April 1988 in Sepsiszentgyörgy. In the "Plugor Sándor" Artistic Lyceum, I graduated in class music, piano and canoeing.
When I was three, I knew I wanted to be a singer, because my mother asked, "What do you want me to be, my little daughter, if you're big?", The answer was clear: "Singer."
In the Lyceum, I was in the "Campanella" children's choir in V-VIII class, and in the IX class I got into the "EUFONIA" chorus. It was a great experience for me to be present in the choirs because we traveled a lot, competing with little success.
Already in the 12th grade I enrolled in the "Folk Art" school in Sepsiszentgyörgy where I learned light music by 2015. I participated in several singing competitions and I also sang in several bands.
After the Lyceum, I was thinking about where to go to music to learn. Several people said it was not worth dealing with music, and I, naďve, listened to something else, unfortunately. I went to the "SPIRU HARET" university for a foreign language course. "The days passed, the weeks were running, the time was running, but I was left alone with the singing." In the deepest sense of my mind, I needed to continue doing this, "music must be".

My way to the Back In Time band in 2016. I finally felt "this is why it was worth waiting, fighting" !!
My primary goal for me was progress, as in any profession, a lot of work. I think the more you know, the better you realize how much you have to learn, the motto has been floating since then.
I spend a lot of time listening to music, but my husband is also a music fan, so we're listening to better songs better than that. My favorite performers include Carol Emerald, Lara Fabian, Eros Ramazotti, etc.

Sign of the Zodiac: aries
Status: happy little boy's mother
Hobby: listening to music, sports
My favorite food: salads
MAKKAI KÁLMÁN (ÖCSI) - guitars, singer

I was born on 22nd September 1974 in Aiud. I started my music career when I was five years old by playing the violin and I’ve taken it seriously for about five years.
When I was in the 6th grade I got a blues lead guitar, made in Romania, for Christmas, which was very bad but so perfect for me that I’ve never put it down ever since.
In my school years we formed  my first band called Euthanasia together with a few ardent colleagues of mine. We played heavy metal ( Metallica, Sodom, Accept etc.) but not only that (AC/DC, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Beatrice etc.). We held a few concerts and scored quite a great success at the level of the town at that time.
Leaving my hometown at the age of 18, fate brought me to Sfantu Gheorghe where I managed to join a local group in a very short period of time, called Semaphore. We performed on a lot of festivals with this band and we also won several prizes (3rd prize in 1995 at the Diákegyüttes Festival, also at this festival I won the second best guitar player’s prize). The album ‘Gondolatok’ (Thoughts) was brought to light, most of the songs that it included were my composition. We had several music videos which were quite often broadcasted on the Hungarian programs of the Romanian National Television at that time.
I entered in the world of music played at restaurants and weddings due to Pal Zaki in the late 90s, where I embraced the different genres, styles, music trends and I acquired them as well as I possibly could!
In the meantime I also had one or two concerts with other bands. I undertook the position of a guitar player in B,V,N (Boala Vacilor Nebune) to a friend of mine’s request. The band managed to compose enough songs for an album which was released and also a few music videos were brought to light which could have been tracked in the Petre Magdin’s late night rock show. Later on we tried to put on the market a Demo which included new songs but without a great success.
Before the B.V.N. broke up I had formed the band called T. Panthers and me and my fellow musicians tasted the world of progressive music and jazz-rock. We attended a lot of fastivals and we always interpreted our own compositions. We got the ‘Special prize’at the Campulung festival in that time. Two demo tapes were also made but unfortunately they were never released.
The next stop was the band called Horizont and we’ve played, what I consider my favourite genre, the progressive rock (Dream Theatre) for quite a few years. We’ve composed music, rehearsed and worked a lot. Soon we released an album which brought us only first prizes on all the festivals we participated at throughout the country. There were also music videos made at the Romanian National Television which can still be rarely watched even in these days.
I won the prize of the Best Guitar Player in the Country at the Buzau Rock Festival. I gathered a lot of diplomas and honorary degrees from these wonderful years when I played music.
The fading of the band called Horizont gave place to the band called Second Attempt, which played a not totally new but still different music genre. Our main ambition was to compose our own songs and to bring them to perfection especially the progressive rock music of 5th and 7th rhythm. At the Campulung festival we got the 1st prize. We have also taken part at a lot of other festivals both in the country and abroad.
In 1998 I have formed, together with my friend and colleague, Pál Zaki, the band called Cadillacs which brought us in the world of rock’n’roll, fusion and jazz rock on a number of times while performing or holding a concert.
Following this we formed the original American country music playing band called Country Transilvania and we tried to tread a path in the musical world of Transylvania by playing modern American country music.
In 2004 I formed the band called Equinox and we mostly played music adaptations while being on a number of beer festivals, concerts or other parties. In 2007 we tried to release an album but unfortunately it has never seen the light of day.
Meanwhile I worked as a studio musician on different albums released by other musicians playing the guitar, bass guitar, singing or making the orchestration.
At the beginning of 2005 Kertész János requested me to take on the guitar playing in the band called Bumerang for a few months as the bass guitarist had left the group. So the then guitarist, Lorincz Imre, took over the bass guitar and I joined the group as the guitarist and singer also!
In 2009 we formed a Cserháti Memorial Band that plays the songs of the great Hungarian singer. It was a big challenge for me to learn those high standard songs, which were asking and rousing for perfection but I started doing it happily, I enjoyed the challenge as I knew that I gather a lot of experience. The group is still active.
At the end of 2010 I said goodbye to Bumerang and I joined my old friend’s band, the Back In Time, I play the guitar and I sing and I’m faithful to the group till this day.
